Firefighting
This training is tailor-made for Crewmembers (Pilots, Flight Attendants, Flight Engineers, Passengers).
Duration: 3hThis training is tailor-made for Crewmembers (Pilots, Flight Attendants, Flight Engineers, Passengers). Lasting three (3) hours, it includes an online or Optional In-class Theoretical part with an Exam-Questionnaire which serves to check that the knowledge has been assimilated by the participants. It is followed by a practical training part in a 100% Electric Cabin Simulator (with Flames, Smoke and Heat Stratification). Participants learn Fire Emergency Techniques including the wearing of Portable Breathing Equipment (PBE – all models are available), the use of Portable Fire Extinguishers, the LIBIK and other Emergency Equipment, Passenger Management, Communication. The program is in accordance and continuously updated to the current regulations of Transport Canada and International Civil Aviation.
Evacuation on water
This training is tailor-made for Crewmembers (Pilots, Flight Attendants, Flight Engineers, Passengers).
Duration: 3hThis training is tailor-made for Crewmembers (Pilots, Flight Attendants, Flight Engineers, Passengers). Lasting three (3) hours, it includes a Theoretical part online or in class with an Exam-Questionnaire which serves to check that the knowledge has been assimilated by the participants. It is followed by an In-pool Practical Training Session with Life vests, Raft (from 4 to 52 pers.), Slide raft, Survival kit. Participants learn Emergency Techniques in the event of an Evacuation on water including wearing a Life vest, Heat Lessening Positions in the water (Hypothermia), Techniques for boarding the raft, the use of the Survival kit Equipment. The program is in accordance and continuously updated to the current regulations of Transport Canada and the International Civil Aviation.
First aid - aviation
This eight (8h) or sixteen (16h) training course is tailor-made for Crewmembers (Pilots, Flight Attendants, Flight Engineers, Passengers) but also at anyone wishing to follow First-Aid Training.
Duration: 8 or 16hThis eight (8h) or sixteen (16h) training course is tailor-made for Crewmembers (Pilots, Flight Attendants, Flight Engineers, Passengers) but also at anyone wishing to follow First-Aid Training. It includes a Theoretical part in class with practical exercises in a Cabin Simulator. We offer participants the ability to respond to any Medical Emergency while understanding Universal Precautions, Sources of Help, Available First Aid Equipment and how to apply the Principles of Emergency Response in the cabin including Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation / Automated External Defibrillator. Mannequins (1:2 ratio) are equipped with on-screen monitor and feedback technology. The Final Exam-Questionnaire is used to check that the knowledge has been assimilated by the participants. The program is in accordance and continuously updated to the current regulations of Transport Canada and International Civil Aviation. Participants will receive a First Aid Red Cross Certification valid for a period of three years. Underwater egress
This three (3h) Training Course is aimed at anyone who boards a plane.
Duration: 3hThis three (3h) Training Course is aimed at anyone who boards a plane. It includes an Online Theoretical part with an Exam-Questionnaire which serves to check that the knowledge has been assimilated by the participants. It is followed by an in-pool Practical Training Portion (with a safe Immersion Cabin Device -Dunker, Life vest, Raft, Survival Kit). Participants learn proper pre-flight preparation including the Location and Operation of Emergency exits, the use of Life vests in water, Emergency Equipment, Raft (if applicable) and Immersion Cabin Exit Technique, essential to survival. To improve the experience, we use of a submersible camera for feedback. Its learning content is according to Information Circular (IC) No.700-056 from Transport Canada, Civil Aviation, Standards Directorate – March 2, 2021. This training program is recognized by Transport Canada and valid for a period of three years.
Firefighting adapted to aviation
This three (3h) training course is tailor-made for Crewmembers (Pre-flights, Tests and Flight demos for your specific aircraft type).
Duration: 3hThis three (3h) training course is tailor-made for Crewmembers (Pre-flights, Tests and Flight demos for your specific aircraft type). It includes a Theoretical part online or in class with an Exam-Questionnaire which serves to check that the knowledge has been assimilated by the participants. It is followed by a Practical Training part in AF 100% Electric Cabin Simulator (with Smoke and Heat Stratification). Participants learn Emergency Techniques in the event of fire including the wearing of different Portable Breathing Equipment (PBE – all models are available), the use of different portable Fire extinguishers, the LIBIK and other Emergency Equipment, Passenger Management, Communication. Its learning content based on international civil aviation regulations is according to the specific needs of the operator.
Use of fire extinguishers
This three (3h) training course is aimed at anyone who must use a Fire Extinguisher in the performance of their duties.
Duration: 3hThis three (3h) training course is aimed at anyone who must use a Fire Extinguisher in the performance of their duties. It includes a theoretical part Online or in class with an Exam-Questionnaire which serves to check that the knowledge has been assimilated by the participants. It is followed by a Practical part of Non-pollutant Fire fighting (with Smoke and Heat stratification) adapted to the participant’s workplace. The aim of this training is to develop the capacity for Analysis and Reactivity with the aim of extinguishing, effectively and safely, the different classes of fire with the extinguishers appropriate to various situations. Its learning content is adapted according to the specific needs of the client.
High altitude & hypoxia – signs & symptoms
This three (3h) training course is tailor-made for Crewmembers.
Duration: 3hThis three (3h) training course is tailor-made for Crewmembers. It includes an online Theoretical part covering the Physiological, Aerodynamic Aspects and Environmental Risks associated with flying at high altitudes (above 10,000 feet). You will learn to identify and describe the most common Physiological Effects of flight in a pressurized and unpressurized aircraft, including the likely causes of these effects, how to recognize them, and ways to mitigate them. It includes an Exam-Questionnaire which is used to check that the knowledge has been assimilated by the participants. The supervised Practical part is performed with Oxygen Mask recreating Hypoxia to help recognize the different Signs and Symptoms of each person during In-flight Cabin Depressurization.
Unruly passenger / self-defense
This three (3h) training course is tailor-made for Crewmembers.
Duration: 3hThis three (3h) training course is tailor-made for Crewmembers. It includes an Online Theoretical part covering the aspects of Unruly Passengers and Obstruction of the work of a Crewmember, including the Responsibilities and Procedures put in place by the company when confronted with passengers exhibiting Unruly Behavior. It includes a Practical part with a role-play on the prevention and management of passengers exhibiting turbulent behavior. In addition, Practical Self-Defense Techniques are included. This training is offered on an annual basis.
Enhanced portable breathing equipment (PBE) training
This three (3h) training course is tailor-made for Crewmembers and/or Passengers equipped with Portable Breathing Equipment (PBE) on board the aircraft.
Duration: 3hThis three (3h) training course is tailor-made for Crewmembers and/or Passengers equipped with Portable Breathing Equipment (PBE) on board the aircraft. It meets the training requirements according to the manufacturers PBE models and Aero-Formatech®. It includes a Theoretical part in class and/or online, to become specifically familiar with all the PBE models on the market and Emergency Equipment. It is followed by an Exam-Questionnaire which serves to verify that the knowledge has been assimilated by the participants. This specific training aims to provide participants with the necessary knowledge to fulfill the responsibilities and tasks assigned in the event of Fire and/or Smoke on board. The Practical Exercises are done in a 100% Electric Cabin Simulator with Smoke and Heat Stratification.
Enhanced containment of portable electronic devices (PED)
This three (3h) training course is tailor-made for Crewmembers equipped with a Portable Electronic Device (PED) containment equipment.
Duration: 3hThis three (3h) training course is tailor-made for Crewmembers equipped with a Portable Electronic Device (PED) containment equipment. It meets the training requirements of Aero-Formatech® as well as the manufacturer CellBlock-LIBIK (Lithium-Ion Battery Incident Kit). It includes a theoretical part in class and/or online, to familiarize yourself specifically with the LIBIK device or any other model along with the Emergency Equipment available. An Exam-Questionnaire is used to check that the knowledge has been assimilated by the participants. This specific training aims to provide participants with the necessary knowledge to fulfill the responsibilities and tasks assigned in the event of Thermal Runaway, Fire or Explosion of a lithium battery. The Practical Exercises are done in AF 100% electric Cabin Simulator with Smoke and Heat Stratification.
